Question 1: My being present and focused on our conversation as made him focused as well. He seemed to take my ideas to heart and asked for more information and what steps to take to achieve my suggestions. He also was more at ease talking to me.
Question 4: Yes we went back to his desk and I showed him where to search things he was looking for and sent him some links to ones I thought were good. Since then we have talked about a few he has taken so far.

For a coach, any coaching conversation provides an opportunity for Powerful Questions. It’s just a matter of knowing when to use them.
